HUJRA is implementing Cash assistance project with financial support of WFP for NWA IDPs in 5 District of KPK (Peshawar, Karak, Laki Marwat, and Bannu & DI Khan).

Project Title: Provision of Cash Assistance to People with Special Needs/Vulnerable Women Displaced from NWA.

Objective of Project:

• Assist displaced vulnerable with focus on women and their families by contributing to their critical food needs.
• Increase women’s awareness in basic nutrition/food and better management of livestock practices.

On 16th of June 2015, Mrs. Lola Castro (Country Director WFP) & Mr.Bai Mankay Sankoh (Chief Provincial Officer) & Provincial Team of WFP Visited Male & Female Cash Disbursement points located at UC Bezen Khail District Bannu, conducted meeting with NWA IDPs & took IDPs feedback regarding Cash assistance Project .While on 17th of June same team visited Cash disbursement points located at UC Ketch District DI khan .
